Carrier Initiates Indoor Air Quality Program in Response to Worsening Wildfire Conditions Across North America

Date:

INDIANAPOLIS – In light of the increasing prevalence of wildfire smoke throughout the United States and Canada, Carrier has announced a strategic initiative to enhance indoor air quality in residential and commercial environments.

The program outlines three primary interventions: the installation of high-efficiency HVAC filters, structural sealing to mitigate smoke infiltration, and the deployment of portable air purifiers equipped with HEPA filtration technology.

“Maintaining clean indoor air is essential during wildfire events,” stated Nick Arch, Vice President of Residential Solutions at Carrier. “Our engineered solutions are designed to safeguard occupants from airborne pollutants when outdoor air becomes compromised.”

Demonstrating its commitment to public health, Carrier has contributed $2.5 million in air purification units to educational institutions and frontline personnel in Los Angeles.
