Matt Cameron Steps Off Pearl Jam Stage After Defining Role

Date:

After 27 years of setting the pace for Pearl Jam, drummer Matt Cameron is officially stepping down. He announced the news with heartfelt words on social media, ending an era that helped shape the band’s modern legacy.
Joining in 1998, Cameron was initially a short-term solution that quickly turned into a career-defining role. His first album with the group, Binaural, signaled a new musical direction.
